Wide speed range for flexible conveying

Motor-driven roller (MDR) conveyors place a 24V brushless motor inside the roller itself — typically a 2-inch-diameter unit that serves as a self-contained drive.
The conveyor splits into independent zones, each with one or more motorized rollers. The motorized roller drives adjacent idlers via quiet Poly-Vee belts, moving packages smoothly across each section.
What makes MDR smart? Decentralized control. Each zone has its own sensor and control card, so zones communicate and operate autonomously — no central PLC required.
What are the advantages of MDR conveyors?
· Zero-pressure accumulation (ZPA) – packages stop without touching, preventing damage.
· Energy savings – run-on-demand cuts power use by up to 81%.
· Quiet & low-maintenance – less noise, fewer moving parts to service.
· High speed – reliably hits 200+ feet per minute for high-throughput operations.
